Attorney Bio

Glenn Romano has experience in a wide variety of business and commercial matters and regularly represents business owners, shareholders, non-profits and individuals in business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, start-ups, corporate governance, employment, and land use. He commonly represents closely-held and public companies in, venture capital transactions, private placements, Glenn has experience in various federal, state and local regulatory matters involving licensing, permitting, and regulatory compliance. Glenn also has experience in commercial litigation involving business, corporate and contract disputes and employment matters.

Glenn is a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. Glenn received his undergraduate degree in political science from Temple University, and his law degree Rutgers University School of Law.

Glenn served as contracts counsel for the Philadelphia Gas Works from 1988-1997 before starting his private practice. Before entering the legal profession, Glenn was a computer analyst with the City of Philadelphia from 1979-1987.

Glenn is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and participates in the Business Law Section and Cyberspace and E-commerce Committee. Glenn is also a member of the Philadelphia Lawyers’ Club.

Glenn is a member of the board of directors of Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Glenn is an active member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Recording Academy (NARAS), and the National Italian American – Political Action Committee (NIA-PAC). Glenn also served as executive director of the Pennypack Park Festival and was responsible for its revival in 2001 after a ten-year dormancy.

In 2002, Glenn was a Republican Party candidate for State Representative for the 174th Legislative District in Pennsylvania.

In 2011, Glenn was appointed to the Philadelphia Zoning Commission which is responsible for drafting a new comprehensive zoning code for the City of Philadelphia. Glenn serves on both the Work Plan Committee and Sign Controls Working Group.
